When Tiny Anderson and Big Boy Brown faced the Great Bolo and Bolo, you could be sure it was going to be exciting. Each time the two teams wrestled each other for Jim Crockett Promotions between 1962 and 1964, the feud drew record numbers.I remember Big Bill Ward once telling viewers about one of their matches drawing 12,000 fans to the Charlotte Coliseum. The Kentuckians always worked hard trying to tear the masks of the Bolos off. They were able get one of the masks off on the Charlotte show but the Bolo was able to cover his face before his identity could be revealed. Those were the days.

R.I.P. Gene Kiniski
Gene Kiniski was the National Wrestling Alliance Heavyweight champion from January 1966 to February 1969.I will never forget his tv matches against George Scott and Abe Jacobs, nor the Greensboro title match I got to see in March of 1968 against Johnny Weaver.Gene Kiniski was a true professional.Rest in peace.
