 James Arthur Whitfield aka Richmond,VA promoter Bill Lewis aka Captain Bluebeard aka Billy Whiskers.During the last three weeks of December in 1936, Bill Lewis went to Miami,Fl to train with Jim and Rube Wright for his wrestling comeback.On May 1,1937, Mr. Lewis left for a tour of California.During his absence, his partner Jim Crockett took over the promotional duties in Richmond until Mr. Lewis returned in September 1937. |
