note: Don Curtis & Joe Scarpa were recognized as the Southern Tag Team Champions at the time. They said they won the the title from Kurt & Karl Von Brauner in Florida. Also Joe Scarpa was later known as Chief Jay Strongbow in the World Wide Wrestling Federation.
