The date in this ad is incorrect. The card actually took place on July 31,1954 in Lexington,NC. The advance ticket sales for this card were the best since Argentina Rocca headlined there several weeks earlier. Verne Gagne beat Pat Fraley in front of a crowd of 3,400 fans.
